Inulin  Inulin
Inulin is a naturally occuring, water soluble dietary fibre. It supports digestion and is not absorbed in the human small intestine. In the colon Inulin serves as food for the beneficial bifidus bacteria. This prebiotic effect is an important contribution to maintenance, or formation respectively, of a sound gut flora.
