Dosage and directions for use

The daily amount of XPhe energy K depends on age, body weight and individual metabolic status of the child and is determined under medical supervision. The daily quantity of XPhe energy K should be taken as a drink, together with calculated amounts of other foods, in 3 - 5 single portions evenly distributed during the day.
 
Example of use
Child 4 years of age - 17 kg body weight
Protein requirements 27 g, thereof 22 g protein from XPHE-SYSTEM Kid
2 sachets of 16,5 g XPhe energy K = 10 g protein
1 x  sachet of 10 g XPhe smart K = 5 g protein 
1 x sachet at 10 g XPhe Kid Sachet  
  or 10 g XPhe Kid = 7,5 g protein

  • phenylalanine-free protein supplement for infants
  • can be given from the 4th month already, since no flavourings or sweeteners are added
  • facilitates transition from phe-free infant formula (XPhe Infant Mix LCP) to protein supplement (amino acid mixture)
  • ideally suitable as phe-free follow-on formula during introduction of supplementary feeds. XPhe energy K neutral compensates for energy deficiencies which might occur during introduction of beikost, as it supplies more energy compared to a traditional concentrated amino acid mixture.
  • optimal ratio of  
    ω-6- to ω-3-fatty acids, 
    as recommended, e.g. by D-A-CH*
  • contains 3 times more protein than a phe-free infant formula 
  • contains the same amount of protein in just 1/3 of the volume compared to a phe-free infant formula (XPhe Infant Mix LCP).  Pleasantly neutral in taste and smell.
